BUFFALO — The 18th annual Business First 40 Under Forty class includes the Medina mayor, the marketing manager at Batavia Downs and the operations manager for Trek Inc. in Medina.

The three local leaders will join 37 other leaders and recognized professionals today during a luncheon at the Buffalo Niagara Convention center. About 800 people are expected to attend the event.

Marty Biniasz is director of marketing for Western Regional Off -Track Betting, owner of Batavia Downs. Previously, Biniasz was marketing manager at Fairgrounds Gaming and Raceway in Hamburg. From 2001 to 2003, Biniasz worked as an assistant athletic director for marketing at Niagara University.

Biniasz is currently the chairman of the City of Buffalo’s Broadway Market Advisory Task Force. He is the founder of the annual Dyngus Day Buffalo parade. Biniasz also conducts architecture and history tours of Buffalo as part of Forgotten Buffalo. This year he is serving on the Buffalo Convention and Visitors Bureau marketing committee.
