(By Buffalo Pundit – Alan Bedenko) The Flipped documentary produced by Michele Johnson and directed by Marc Odien is extremely well done and powerful. Many in the audience were almost moved to tears watching the devastation and blight that flipping has wrought. These dilapidated, vacant eyesore homes share blocks with well-kept family homes, and there is a definite domino effect when a block starts to go downhill; as Judge Nowak pointed out, when a building becomes vacant, the neighbors may lose their insurance coverage, which is a condition of their mortgage, and you have some new vacant homes arising out of that.

Over 200 people attended both screenings. Fantastic turnout.
