(By Judith Felski/SJK) Troop 107 has been part of Saint John Kanty Church for over 80 years.
Mr. Randy Siejak, Scoutmaster, will be recognized as 2011 Scoutmaster of the Year at the Volunteer Recognition Dinner of the Greater Niagara Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America on Thursday, April 26 at the Millennium Hotel Buffalo. This is a special evening to thank adult scouts.
Congratulations to Randy and the Siejak family, who have been parishioners here for many years.
Corpus Christi church is heading into final preparations to have its south tower’s copper dome placed back.
The letters that were written by parishioners and friends back in November 2011 were blessed by Father Mariusz Dymek of the church and were sealed in the cross late last week.
These letters were done similarly to what Corpus Christi parishioners did in 1907 when the original dome was placed on the south tower. Click here to read back story—>
No exact date has been set as to when the dome will go back up…but I’ve been told within a few weeks.
