St. John Kanty Church on Buffalo’s East Side Pierogi and Placek sale through Palm Sunday

St. John Kanty Church’s annual Lenten pierogi and placek sale continues each Sunday through Palm Sunday.

The sale is taking place inside the church’s rectory from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The rectory is located right behind the church.

Half dozen packages of cheese or sauerkraut pierogi are $12. Placek are $7 a loaf. Both the pierogi and placek are handmade by the dedicated parishioners of the church — they are fantastic.

In addition, there is a Basket Raffle, St Adalbert Basilica’s homemade Easter candy, including chocolate Last Suppers, will also be available for sale, as well as tickets for the Basilica’s 50-50 Split the Pot Raffle, which will be drawn on live on Facebook on March 17.

This is a great way to support two wonderful historic church in East Buffalo’s Historic Polonia.

St. John Kanty Church is located at the corner of Broadway and Swinburne in Buffalo.
