The Rivoli Theatre at 1111 Broadway opened in 1919 and closed in late 1977. It was demolished in February 1984. We posted these on Facebook earlier today. One of the photos is of the interior of the theater. That’s rare to come by.
It’s a shame places like these weren’t saved from the wrecking ball.
