After a year of some hard work and dedication by Mary Lanham and the folks at the Adam Mickiewicz Library and Dramatic Circle, the library reopened Saturday after being closed to the public for almost twenty years.
I have three videos that are well worth the watch of the event.
The first is of highlights of the reopening.
The second is of Greg Olma speaking at the event on the importance of Adam Mickiewicz in Polish Culture.
The third is of Mary “The Librarian” Lanham speaking about the library’s history and rebirth.
Alive!

Thank you for sharing this video with us out-of-towners. Reopening such a place to the public helps preserve our Polish culture.
Sharing stuff on here is a labor of love…thanks!
Looks like there was a nice crowd at the event. Congratulations Miss Lanham for pulling this together and breathing new life into the library at Mickies.
I tip my hat to Miss Lanham for conquering what surely had to be an exhaustive mound of work – excellent job! And Chris, it was nice to meet and chat with you. As always, excellent job with the site and for bringing Buffalo’s Polonia to those in the world who can’t be there. And, of course, stay away from chicks on crutches . . .
It was nice meeting you as well…I am avoiding chicks with crutches.
The Miss is now a Mrs., married to Greg Witul 🙂
Odważny!
