Stopped down Wilson Street way yesterday and snapped the above pic which is the first sign of work beginning on the Wilson Street Urban Farm.

On Saturday, May 30,2009, there will be the first official public work day on the Wilson Street Urban Farm site. We are planning on putting together the wooden 4 x 8 boxes, mixing up soil, laying down the weed barrier, laying out the boxes, filling them with soil, and perhaps getting a few seeds or plants in them. There is also plenty of clean-up left to do. Please bring shovels, wheelbarrows, gloves, and maybe a hammer if you have any. Work will begin around 9:00. See you there!
