While driving down Broadway over the weekend, I saw a sign on the Bank of America indicating that the building was for sale.
After placing some calls and searching the net, I learned that the bank will indeed be closing…no date as of yet.
The building was built in 1909-1910 and designed by Robert North.
The building is fantastic.
Here we go…. yet another building in the Historic Polonia District that needs to be watched and saved….
This, indeed, is not a good thing for Broadway/Fillmore.
