Opening Ceremony, Santa’s Arrival Scheduled for Friday, November 23 at 10:00A.M.
What: The Christmas Food Fair will offer a unique selection of ethnic delicacies, seasonal sweets, holiday decorations and distinctive stocking stuffers. Event sponsor Bashar Issa and his wife Sarah will be arriving at the Broadway Market with Santa Claus in a horse-drawn carriage at 10:00A.M. on November 23 to officially open the event.
Who: Richard Fronczak, Executive Director of the Broadway Market; British Developer Bashar Issa; his wife Sarah Alsouhail who is an internationally famous author of children’s books; and Sandy Starks and Carol Bronnenkant, co-chairs of the Christmas Fair, followed by a choir performance, under the direction of Choir Master Bruce Woody. Participants include the year-round market businesses plus specialty vendors Tea Amo, The Basket Co.dried fruits and nuts, Chameleon handmade soaps, Chateau Buffalo holiday wine and cidre, Growing Green Works amazing chili starter and salsa, Hotroxs chicken wing cookbook, Slavic Bazzar’s jams, candies and other foods from Eastern and Central Europe, Petals & Lace hand made jewelry and advent wreaths, Pamela Grace Designs jewelry, Lewiston jellies, the Winery at Marjim Manor’s hot cranberry wine and much more.
