Central Terminal Volunteer Opportunities

Tomorrow, CTRC Treasurer Mark Lewandowski and I will be representing the Central Terminal at WNED’s annual Volunteer Fair. The fair is coordinated by Lisa Napier of WNED and has been designed to attract new volunteers to over 30 participating local non-profit organizations. I’ve gone to the last 2 fairs and got to meet a few hundred new people, as well as established many new relationships with new volunteers and fellow non-profits who are all about making things better in our beloved city.

Come on out to the WNED Studios at Horizons Plaza (next to Adam’s Mark Hotel) and see how you can help out your favorite local non-profit. We will be there from 10am to 2pm. Recruiting and managing volunteers is the hardest job for any non-profit, so please help!

Also, the Central Terminal will be holding a volunteer clean up from 9am to 1pm to prepare the concourse and grounds for Dyngus Day coming up on the 9th of April. Wear proper work attire and please bring shovels, rakes and work gloves if you have them.

Please come out to either event and help Buffalo’s favorite all-volunteer preservation project prepare for another busy and exciting season of events!

If you can’t make either event but would still like to help out, you can email Derek Punaro, our volunteer coordinator and scheduler, at:
