Today I strayed away from my typical Sunday morning picture gathering routine of taking random photos on my way to 11:30 AM mass at Corpus Christi to share with you and decided to do something a bit different.
Why? Glad you asked…
It occured to me on my ride down to CC that I should shoot video inside the church and solely concentrate there today…that simple…though I feature some CC photos or video in my Sunday morning travels through Broadway-Fillmore, I never did a whole shoot of the church itself…CC is an amazing building and it is probably something I should have done sooner…
As a side note, my daughter received a new digital camera as a gift. She said she couldn’t get the video to work right on it, so I told her to give to me and I would use it today to do my video and check it out.
I now understand why she couldn’t get the video to work well. I must have shot 3 times the amount that is displayed in the video, but the camera lacks any type stabilizing features. If you shoot straight on a subject without much moving around, it works great. If you move around a lot doing pans and what not, not so great. So it goes…
