CORPUS CHRISTI: REOPENING OF BOWLING ALLEYS!!!

Under the direction of Fr. Anzelm and Raymond Feness, Corpus Christi has reopened the Sears St. Athletic Club. As most of us already know, the building offers a twelve lane bowling alley, a basketball court, weight room, shower facilities, lockers, a game room, and banquet/meeting room facilities.

Used in the past mainly for weekly bingo games and parish sponsored events, the Athletic Club will now be utilized to its full potential, with bowling, pool and dart leagues to begin this fall. Corpus Christi’s five year Capital Campaign, which began in May 2005 hopes to raise a total of 1 million dollars over a five year period for the preservation of its five building complex. Profits from the Athletic Club will go toward church repairs and preservation. For additional information, please contact Fr. Anzelm at 896-1050 or Raymond Feness at 892-0469 (days) or 826-9330 (evenings).

Corpus Christi is just another amazing success story emerging from the Broadway-Fillmore Area….
