The weather held out and a lot of people came. Success can be that simple at times.
I don’t know if it was because of Buffalo Old Home Week’s subconscious influence or not, but a lot of what many people involved with the event talked about was being part of Corpus Christi is like coming home again…even Father Anzelm talked about at the end of 11:30 AM mass.
Corpus Christi, the Pauline Fathers and faith inspires its parishioners to roll up their sleeves and help (me included)…there is such an incredible feeling of belonging and outright love for parish that one can’t help but to be inspired. With that said, it isn’t any wonder that the festival was a success. Heck…I even got to see Airborne Eddie do a magic trick… 🙂
Some very special Broadway Fillmore Alive love to Andy Golebiewski and Christine Cooley (the main organizers of the event) and the volunteers who worked in the background pulling all the pieces together. I am also amazed by the growing number of people I become friends with at Corpus Christi…family…
Very wonderful things are happening at Corpus Christi…this adds to the wonderful things happening in the Broadway-Fillmore area…
