I attended the second informational meeting on Saturday at St. Stan’s Marian Hall about the St. Stanislaus Garden Development.
Each time I speak with Mr. McHugh the developer, I am impressed with his dedication to the project and his sincerity in helping revitalize the Broadway-Fillmore area.
One needs to only drive around the streets in the area to understand what years of decline and neglect have done to the housing the base. With that said, the chance to actually build up the community around Saint Stan’s is something positive and can help turn the tide of neglect.
