This morning I was leaving out for the day and was surprised to see my neighbor Theresa Pujnicki of Empire St. working on the corner of Empire and Titus.
Last week Yuri Hreshchyshyn mowed the high grass and his crew cleaned up the debris in the lots surrounding the streets of Empire, Titus, Goodyear and Koons.
I stopped and talked with Theresa and she said she wanted to do something for the corner adjacent her house. She has dubbed the project “The Peace Tree”.
Making your neighborhood a nicer place starts with one place at a time, one house at a time, one person at a time.
Theresa is a testament to a person that speaks thru her actions. Bravo to you Theresa and keep up the great work.
