Let me just tell you this, you should all be very proud of Flipped. I wonder if any of you would have thought a year ago that you would be sitting in a theatre watching something you created?
Last night at the Market Arcade Theatres, Flipped was screened two more times.
The documentary was reworked from the initial screening to include some extra footage and more commentary. In other words, something that was good got better.
The most important aspect of the night is more people got exposed to the problem of house flipping and the ills that plague some of Buffalo’s neighborhoods because of vacant houses and abandoned properties.
There exists a whole other side of Buffalo that people need to see. A side that needs to be paid attention to if there is any hope in bringing our wonderful neighborhoods back to life. Michele, Marc and Jay you have opened a window of opportunity for all of us to take notice and rise to the occasion.
