I stumbled across a 1971 copy of the Buffalo Evening News. It featured a piece in its Magazine section entitled The Polish Community. I will try to scan the entire article in the future. It is quite interesting.
This photo was scanned from there. I always find it very cool to look at old streetscape shots of Buffalo, especially in the Broadway-Fillmore area.
