Just found out today that Marty Biniasz’s grandmother had passed away on Saturday.
Mary R. Lipinski was a lifelong B-F resident. She also was a big inspiration in Marty’s life and the role he plays in helping the neighborhood.
Keep his grandmother and family in your prayers.

I opened my email up this morning and had this picture in it courtesy of Marty Biniasz!!!
Very…Very…Cool…thanks Marty!
From Marty on the painting and the artist…
Alexander O. Levy was born in Germany and came to Buffalo in 1909. He was the art director at Larkin Soap around 1913.
The attached painting, Broadway Market Impending Storm was painted in 1933. The original is currently part of the collection of the Burchfield-Penny.
If anyone ever finds an old picture or painting of something in B-F, please email us. We can scan it and get it up on BFA. Stuff like the above is just amazing.
