The City of Buffalo will host public Open Houses in nine neighborhoods throughout Buffalo between June 4 through June 9, to present and get public input on the draft elements of the city’s new zoning code, which was last updated in 1953. These public events will offer citizens an opportunity to preview the draft code, learn how the code will benefit their neighborhood, and discuss the details at Open House stations with project team members.
The Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood’s is from 1-3:30p.m. at the Matt Urban Center, 1081 Broadway on Saturday, June, 9th.
A concurrent one-hour Family Session for children and their families will also be held and will include a brief presentation, an art project and young planner certificates for those children in attendance and light refreshments will also be served.
