From Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown’s Facebook page:
“Honoring a #Buffalo icon! Tonight, City Hall is lit in white in honor of the many great contributions to our community by the late George K. Arthur, who passed away last week. As an added first-of-its-kind tribute, the lights are on in every window of Buffalo City Hall in honor of the bright beacon of Hope Mr. Arthur has been as a champion of equity, opportunity and fairness in our community. George K. Arthur is an example of how the actions of one person can be a spark to ignite positive change in our community.”
What a great tribute to a Buffalo icon.
