The St. John Paul II Schola Cantorum will present its Spring concert: “Sacred Music Treasures” at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church at 123 Townsend Street (corner Peckham Street) in the historic Old Polonia district of Buffalo on Sunday, June 2nd at 4:00 pm.

Established in the Fall of 2017 in Buffalo, the St. John Paul II Schola Cantorum is an independent a cappella choir dedicated to performing, promoting and preserving the great treasury of sacred choral music of the Catholic Church.

The Council of Vatican II said, “The treasure of sacred music is to be preserved and fostered with great care.” Join us for this beautiful celebration of the Catholic Church’s great treasury of sacred music. Works by W.A. Mozart, G.P. Da Palestrina, Anton Bruckner, Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, Giovanni Croce and others, as well as Gregorian Chant will be performed.

St. Stanislaus Church is a beautiful sacred space on Buffalo’s east side. It’s perfect for concerts like this.
