Yesterday afternoon, a story broke that a Canadian real estate developer was seriously interested in redeveloping Buffalo’s Central. After the story started to make its rounds on social media. The developer was identified as Harry Stinson. Stinson has been interested in taking on redevelopment of the Terminal in the past. Today on Facebook, Chris Hawley posted a link to video interview with Stinson done in July of this year in the Preservation Ready Sites Facebook group. The video includes talk of the Terminal and his interest in it.

I am, as is the usual with all things redevelopment in the neighborhood, cautiously optimistic about the news yesterday. If it redevelopment of the Terminal occurs, this would be huge for Buffalo, and more importantly, huge for the neighborhood.
