Hope Gardens Nears Opening

Hope Gardens will be opening later this month. The project will include 20 units in a two-story apartment complex to house chronically homeless women on Oberlin and Ruhland avenues off Sycamore Street.

From the HOPE Center’s Facebook page:

Hope Gardens Update: We will get the keys to the building on Wednesday, November 19th! We have a volunteer group of mother-daughter teams that will decorate the 20 apartments on the evening of November 24th with donations gathered by Linda Wolfe and Renee Campbell. Linda & Renee will be joined by Lita Rodriguez to help organize the evening’s activities! The following pictures are donations that Linda has been collecting over the past month or so … 20 bed-in-a-bags, 20 shower curtains, 20 towels, 20 floor matts, etc. Linda has been a very busy lady! UB donated some food to go into the apartments as a little welcome to our residents. If you would like to donate items, please contact Karen Carman 716-893-7222×301
