This coming Sunday is Scout Sunday at Saint John Kanty.  Troop 107 is the last remaining Boy Scout Troop in East Buffalo’s Historic Polonia. They have served the community and parish for 88 years.

From SJK’s website:

A scout is Reverent…Scout Sunday is scouting’ s reaffirmation of the 12th point of the scout law: duty to God. Troop 107 also celebrates their 88th year of service to St. John Kanty Parish Community. Over the years hundreds of boys have learned many skills and provided thousands of hours of service to the Parish and the neighboring community. As a Parish we also pray for our former scouts serving our country.

Please join the scouts for refreshments after 10:30am Mass in the Scout Meeting Room on the 3rd floor in the Convent Center.

St. John Kanty Parish Community is proud not only of our scouts but also of the troop leadership, who have in many cases been serving for a number of years…THANK YOU for continuing to serve not only the boy scouts but also our Parish!
