2013 Thanksgiving Food Giveaway at Saint Luke’s and How You Can Help

Every year at St. Luke’s, the mission has a major Food Giveaway at Thanksgiving time. This year they are giving away 2,600 bundles of food – each bundle consists of two bags of dry / canned goods including rolls, potatoes, vegetables, macaroni & cheese, cookies, etc. Each bundle also consists of a bag of perishable items including meat, butter, milk, frozen desserts, etc. God is so good! All of these items are either donated or purchased with funds that were donated. The food giveaway is an awesome thing to witness and an even more incredible thing to be a part of!

Here is the calendar of events for the 2013 Thanksgiving Food Giveaway:

Sat. 23rd
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Packing for Food Giveaway @ St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy

Tue. 26th
10:30 AM – Food Giveaway @ St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy

St. Luke’s gives almost 1000 bundles of food to other churches and ministries in the East Side of Buffalo area to allow them to “feed the hungry” and spread the love and mercy of God to their congregations as well.
