Abandoned at birth, Jerry Balone spent most of his life in foster homes, orphanages, detention centers, and reform schools before going to prison for his involvement in a robbery in which three people were killed.
Balone’s true story of crime, gangs, and prison life is one that should be read by anyone who believes in the power of education, rehabilitation, and redemption.
