The hit-and-run occurred Sunday morning.
Buffalo accident investigators today issued an appeal to help them find the culprit in a fatal hit-and-run accident at 1152 Broadway.
A 48-year-old Buffalo woman was struck and killed at about 6:15 a.m. today by a dark green vehicle traveling westbound on Broadway, according to Lt. Joseph Pierchala, commander of the police department’s Accident Investigation Unit.
“We are looking for a person of interest operating a dark colored pick-up truck that was filmed by surveillance video around that time in the area,” Pierchala said.
Police are not releasing the woman’s name, pending notification of relatives.
The dark green vehicle, police believe, has front end damage, including a broken headlight.
