I love this web page. We moved to Florida about 15 years ago (because we wouldn’t be able to afford NY’s high taxes) and I do so miss my “home”. When we moved here, I felt a little out of place, because it
seemed most parishioners were Italian. Well, now we have a Polish pastor, associate pastor and a Polish priest. We even had food blessing on Saturday (not just candy baskets like when we first came here, but real food baskets. There were over 100 on the altar steps. What a great feeling after I left Church. Of course, wasn’t able to get a butter lamb or cross bread – not even a good loaf of rye bread.
Now I’m able to see the Dyngus Day Parade on your web cam. How great can this be??? Thank you so much.

I share this wbesite with all my friends from the old neighborhood.
A bunch of us went out for the seven churches on the brochure on Holy Thursday. It was the first time in years many had come to do this on the east side.
BFA is an inspiration to me and many to remember how imporatant it is to support our history and in a way help the old neighborhood.
