From Saint Stan’s – On Sunday, March 22nd at 3:00 p.m., St. Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr Parish offered a dramatic presentation of the Seven Last Words of Christ from the Cross as seen through the eyes of the Blessed Mother, Mary Magdalene, and St. John the Apostle. Three parishioners, Amy Smardz, Nancy Smardz, and Robert Okoniewski offered their dramatic interpretation of each word of Jesus, followed by their own personal prayer and a sung reflection from the congregation. The script for the service was composed by Bishop Edward Grosz. Costumes were crafted by parishioner, Edward Gawron. The St. Stanislaus Choir under the direction of Mr. Thomas Borowski, provided music for the service.
