On Thanksgiving Weekend 2007, the Broadway Market launched a “grand opening” celebration for Buffalo’s Christmas Season. Using the model of centuries-old European Christmas markets, this family-friendly event showcased the ethnic foods that have made the Market famous, along with a wide array of seasonal sweets, holiday decorations, enticing gift items and distinctive stocking stuffers. Based on tremendous public response to this first time event, plans are now underway for Christmas Fair 2008, which will take place on November 28 & 29, 2008.
The Broadway Market is looking for new vendors to expand the variety of specialty and ethnic foods and gifts at this year’s Christmas Fair.
