(By Yuri Hreshchyshyn) The Ukrainian community in Buffalo hosted the Torch Relay from Ukraine in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-33 thursday evening, May 15th at the Ukrainian Cultural Center Dnipro, 562 Genessee St. Buffalo. About one hundred attended the short program which included reading of Buffalo, Erie County, and New York State resolutions, a Moleben memorial service, as well as a choral performance.
All are welcome to look at the histoical display in the library of Dnipro any Friday evening.
