  1. I just found your website. My father was baptized in this church in June, 1936. I have his original baptismal certificate. I also believe my Polish grandparents were also married in this church, as they used to live in Buffalo and then moved south of the city not long afterwards. I have their original wedding picture and would love to know for certain that they were married there. I was hoping I could confirm that with church records if I provide their names. My father passed away recently this year, 2008. He was born with the “lucky cap”, which I understand is not the same as a caul. Please provide me with information about that. I actually now have it and would like to bury it with him next month. Hopefully, someone would read this shortly so I may have the information to share with my family and loved ones on the history of the lucky cap and the significance with Polish history. God Bless.
