Buffalo, New York – On Saturday October 20 at 11:00A.M, the Broadway Market will celebrate the bounty of the Western New York harvest with a Savor the Flavor cooking demonstration and tastings.
Buffalo attorney and fellow Slow Food Buffalo member Sharon Osgood will join host Sandy Starks in preparing a number of Native American dishes that highlight the “three sisters” of corn, beans and squash. Featured recipes will include corn chowder made with a rare Iroquois white corn, wild rice salad with a cranberry vinagrette, maple fudge, pumpkin pine nut bread and stuffed squash.
