Buffalo, NY (WBEN) – An East Side church will attempt to defend its “American Pierogi Capital” title this weekend.
Corpus Christie Church, near the Broadway Market, is gearing up to win the $10,000 cash prize offered by Mrs. T’s Pierogis in their annual “Pierogi Capital of America” contest.
As WBEN’s Steve Cichon reports in the audio link above, the church’s parishioners are relying on their Polish-born pastor to lead them to victory.
