Tonight, Corpus Christi parishioners and pierogi fanatics (count me as both) gathered at 165 Sears Street the home of the church’s athletic center to start preparing the ingredients for Sunday and Corpus Christi’s attempt to defend Buffalo’s title as “The Pierogy Pocket Capital of America…my role was that of potato peeler…I shot some video in between…the above is the end result…Thursday is when the pierogi will be assembled…if you are interested in learning how to make pierogi, feel free to stop on down…us Polish type folk welcome strangers with open arms.
