What a beautiful day it was in Broadway-Fillmore yesterday!
The traditional Corpus Christi procession between St. Stanislaus and Corpus Christi churches was simply a wonderful thing to be part of and witness…a journey of faith and grace.
To paraphrase something Father Anzelm of Corpus Christi said in his homily after the procession…that we knew why we were there…the reason for the procession…but some of the people who were watching the procession from the sidewalks didn’t know…but they were smiling because they understood it was something special.
It was special…
