This morning I stopped in and helped the Response to Love Center (RTLC) set up for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving dinner that the center offers to countless people throughout the neighborhood…I will be there tomorrow as well.
The dinner is an open invitation to the entire community to come and break bread in celebration of all we are thankful for.
I don’t know how many turkey’s me and others carved up today, but the center has enough food to feed an army.
Ever since I started helping Sister Johnice and the RTLC, it never ceases to amaze me how she and the center inspire the very best in people. She has some of the hardest working and dedicated volunteers you will ever find.
When I left the center today, I hopped in my car and just sat there for a minute or two in awe. That may seem a bit strange, but everytime I leave the center I feel like I have witnessed God’s work first hand. If you have ever met Sister J. or walked through the RTLC, you know what I mean.
Stop in tomorrow (10:30 AM – 1 PM) to a place where miracles do happen everyday.
