Sunday Morning and Mr. McHugh

Every Sunday morning I plan a different route for myself to take down to the Broadway-Fillmore Area to go to church at Corpus Christi.

Today I took Herman to Broadway where crossing over it turns into Smith Street…I took it down to Peckham which I made a left (east) on.

I was surprised as I approached Detroit Street to see Mr. McHugh and his crew out cleaning up a couple lots on Peckham.  It was Sunday morning afterall.

Of course I had to stop and take a few pics and talk to Mr. McHugh.  If you don’t know who Mr. McHugh is, he is the man behind the St. Stan’s Gardens project.
