Leslie Vishwanath and the Matt Urban Center which she works for were featured last night in a story on WKBW about housing issues.
Leslie Vishwanath, a Housing Specialist with the Lt. Col. Matt Urban Center, says: “Our success stories are of course the rehabs .. but it’s difficult to rehab a house when you have no tenants … ”
The Matt Urban Center is the organization in charge of collecting the money to make repairs to properties with absentee landlords – all over Buffalo. 727 Woodlawn is one of them. It’s also one of a dozen or so places owned by Harrell Bonner. Bonner is behind bars in Boston, Massachusetts.
