A sad note of passing in today’s Buffalo News:
July 13, 2006, beloved husband of the late Alina (Smolarek); devoted father of David (Annemarie), Thomas P. ‘Tim’ (Michele Speach) Franczyk and Nancy (Peter) Small; grandfather of Claire and Natalie Franczyk, Emily and Anna Small; brother of the late John Franczyk, Sue Choops, Gus, Leon, Walter, Roman Franczyk and Sohie Marczak; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 806 Clinton St (near Fillmore) Friday 4-7 PM and a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Church, (189 Clark St.) Saturday at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stan’s memory may be made to Corpus Christi Church.
