Dark, depressing images – street after street of abandoned homes on the verge of collapse – are at the heart of a new documentary about the decline of a once-thriving working-class neighborhood. The sad part is you can drive just a few miles to Buffalo’s East Side and see those same devastating images.
People will get an opportunity Thursday to see why so many of the city’s poorest neighborhoods are struggling when a new documentary called “Flipped” debuts.
