“Empire State College has decided that suburban bland is an appropriate setting for higher education. The college is giving up 14,000 sq.ft. of space it has occupied in the centrally located, historic circa-1892 Market Arcade Complex for the circa-1972 Appletree Business Park on Union Road in Cheektowaga.”
Whatever the rationale behind such a move, I wonder if any thoughts were given to find ESC a suitable place that meets in what they are looking for in a suburban environment inside the city limits?

Both probably have what you are looking for in a “suburban” setting and most importantly, the college will still be accesible to city residents that rely on mass transportation for their needs.
