Torn Space Theatre: Off Broadway on Fillmore

Sitting off Broadway is the Torn Space Theater at The Adam Mickiewicz Dramatic Circle & Library on Fillmore Avenue.

The Torn Space theater company was founded by Dan Shanahan in the spring of 2000.   It is dedicated to bringing contemporary drama not otherwise produced in the Buffalo.

It has been characterized as both avant-garde and the only place in Buffalo that pushes theatre to its outer limits.  All of this mixed in with the cool atmosphere of Mickey’s Hall that makes for a one-of-a-kind Buffalo experience.

From Buffalo Rising:

Torn Space Theater will present QUILLS, a comedy about the Marquis de Sade, by Doug Wright at The Adam Mickiewicz Dramatic Circle and Library, 612 Fillmore Avenue, Buffalo NY: Friday, April 28th through Sunday, May 21st. This marks the plays Western New York Premiere.
