The Fronczak Library at 1080 Broadway officially closed its doors on 12/26/2005. This past weekend the library held a liquidation sale.
On 03/03/2006 a sub-committee of the Good Neighbors Planning Alliance for the East Side will meet to explore quick re-use of the building.
The building itself has been well maintained over the years and could be used for a variety of things. It is in “move in” shape.
Before the 03/03 meeting, I wanted to throw this out on B-F Alive to get some thoughts and suggestions for re-use. If you are someone with an interest in potentially aquiring the building, let us know.
