Earth Day “Good and Green Homes” Project kicked off around RTLC

(Mike Gilhooly – RTLC) Earth Day “Good and Green Homes” Project kicked off yesterday morning bright and early with the replacement of the sidewalks and entrance slab in front of St. Adalbert’s. A WNY AmeriCorps team also started to scrape the old paint using the newly enacted lead containment procedures and prep some of the houses for a fresh coat of paint.

    Simple things like sprucing up streets go a long way. I would like to see more of it. Are they accepting volunteers to help here?

    Hi Thomas,
    Yes the big volunteer day is the 22nd Earth Day. Volunteer registration will be at the tent on the parking lot at 130 Kosciuszko St. at 8am.
