Is there anyway to contact the east side parishes thru email? As a Gay Catholic and Gay rights advocate I have serious concerns with the “approved” LGBTQ speaker on Saturday. I communicated with the Bishop with others for years in a series of meetings and it is clear he does not understand LGBTQ concerns. I was asked to send him a letter with my concerns and he never responded. Catholic teaching on gender, sexuality, and gender identity is simply wrong and is causing much harm. I am a retired SUNY professor who was in Catholic school until graduate school and a long time supporter of the struggling east side churches.
