Exciting to see new life coming to St. John Kanty Church’s Lyceum building!

We are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for our Apartments at the Lyceum! The apartments are located at 97 Swinburne St. in East Buffalo’s Broadway- Bailey neighborhood. Community Services for Every1 has adapted the historic St. John Kanty Lyceum to create 42 affordable workforce apartments as well as a community hub space to be known as the Lyceum Empowerment Center. 12 of these units will be set aside for survivors of domestic violence ready to move into permanent housing, and 5 other apartments will be fully ADA accessible and 3 units will be designed to accommodate individuals with hearing/visual impairments.
Amenities include off -street parking, greenspace with a garden and playground, common laundry, an elevator, EV charging station, indoor bike storage and repair station, and storage facilities.
All applicants will be screened for site specific program eligibility, income eligibility, disability, and household size. Applications will be due on September 22, 2023. Applications must be postmarked or submitted on-line by this date. Sending more than 1 application may disqualify a potential tenant.
