Annual World War II Poland Remembrance Mass August 13th @ St. Stan’s

Each year the Polish American Community of Western New York remembers and honors the people of Poland who suffered and perished during World War II with a special commemoration of the martyrdom of St. Maximilian Kolbe at Auschwitz.

This year’s event will especially remember the children who were innocent victims of the horrors of war.

The Mass will be held at noon at St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church located at Fillmore & Peckham Avenues, Buffalo, on Sunday, August 13, 2023.

Light refreshments will be served immediately following the Mass in the Church Social Center where the art exhibit titled, “Mom I Don’t Want War!” will be available for viewing.

The event is sponsored by Polish American Congress, Polish Legacy Project – WWII, Polish Chair at Canisius College, and Am-Pol Eagle Newspaper.

  1. Thank you for sharing this with the Broadway Fillmore community. Everyone is welcome to join us at St. Stanislaus and for free light refreshments afterward.
