City of Buffalo Announces June 13th Meeting for Broadway-Fillmore Downtown Revitalization Initiative

The City of Buffalo has announced a public meeting related to the Broadway-Fillmore Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI).

  • On Monday, June 13, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., a public meeting will take place at the Care Management Coalition, 1021 Broadway, 4th floor. This meeting is an opportunity for members of the public to learn about projects that have been proposed for consideration in the DRI and give input. This meeting will also be available on Zoom, with registration at www.BroadwayFillmoreDRI.com.

The approximately six-month DRI planning process is guided by the Local Planning Committee (LPC), which consists of representatives from local government, community organizations, local businesses, and residents. The LPC meetings are working sessions for the Committee, but they are open to the public.

By July 2022, the LPC will develop a Strategic Investment Plan for Broadway-Fillmore that will examine local assets and opportunities and recommend economic development, transportation, housing, and community projects that align with the community’s vision for downtown revitalization and that are poised for implementation.

Please visit www.BroadwayFillmoreDRI.com for more information on opportunities for public input and the DRI planning process.
