CITY OF BUFFALO WANTS BROADWAY FILLMORE RESIDENT INPUT

The City of Buffalo is looking for resident feedback to focus on major investments in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. With funding from the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, the American Rescue Plan, and more coming to the City, it is important that resident input directs spending in the neighborhood.

NEXT STEPS IN THE BROADWAY FILLMORE DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION INITIATIVE

The Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood will receive $10 million in Downtown Revitalization Initiative funding. The Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) is a comprehensive approach to boosting local economies by transforming communities into vibrant neighborhoods where the next generation of New Yorkers will want to live, work, and raise a family.  The next meeting of the Local Planning Committee is March 24th  at 5:30 pm.  This meeting is open to the public and the Zoom link is here.  LPC meetings #3 – #6 are tentatively scheduled for the 4th Thursday of the month, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm and Public Meeting #2 will be announced soon.
